Another week, another shorts review, this time for Sonic For Hire. See what Gonzo thought after the jump!

Spoilers Below
In the latest episode of “Sonic For Hire,” Sonic hangs with Knuckles, like old times, after traveling into the past in his time machine (the Epoch from “Chrono Trigger”). Knuckles spouts some supposedly ‘90s slang, and with some help from Sonic, destroys another of Dr. Robotnik’s robot fighters. Just like old times. But Sonic traveled back for one important reason: to not blow all his money on Dreamcast stock.
Future Sonic find Tails and tells him to tell Past Sonic (or Present Sonic, depending on how you look at it) that piece of financial advice. Still following? Good. Sonic humorously sums up the positives of the future nicely, adding, “the only annoying thing is a bunch of celebrities got rich and famous for doing nothing.” Amen, my spiky blue brother. Amen. He also slips in some jokes about instead investing his money in Microsoft and Apple, and to find “some weirdo named Zuckerberg and get him laid or something.”
Of course, a major risk of going back in time to change something is, well, Grandpa Simpson said it best: “even the slightest change can alter the future in ways you can’t imagine.” And how! The episode ends with Sonic returning to present day to find the Casino now named after him (score!) but the President of the United States is the person formerly known as Princess Potato (weak!)
Though not one of the best episodes, it was funny (especially the 1990’s and current day references), the plot was entertaining and, considering this was a notch above last week’s premier, hopefully the Machinima people can keep the momentum going.
Bling bling!

Gonzo also likes watching baseball, and putting ketchup on foods that ketchup has no business being on. He enjoys rock’n’roll from the 60’s, 70’s, and 80’s, when rock was rock, and meaningless repetitive phrases were frowned upon. But it is what it is.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
