Spoilers Below

Springfield Elementary Shakedown

There’s a new group of bullies in Springfield….actually they are more like wiseguys! Starting with Fat Tony Jr, we are later introduced to his team of mafia cohorts Calves, Louie Jr., and Jimmy Expendable and they want to add one more to their ranks…BART SIMPSON! Bart reluctantly joins and after passing a pretty ruthless test, he finds out his next mission…steal the school’s fundraising candy! Yep, and Lisa is the one tasked with watching over said candy which causes Bart to obviously stick up for his sister. But, like Donnie Brasco we learn that Bart infiltrated the kid gang at the behest of the principal so that the cops can nab the criminals and toss em in the slammer. But, who really took the candy?

Kneading Dough

Professor Frink breaks into Homer’s house to do an experiment, but instead he gets choked out for breaking and entering.

Maggie and the Moon

Maggie saves Homer’s life and in return she wants the moon (typical woman if you ask me…) Luckily, Barney won the moon in a game of poker with Neil Armstrong of which he gives to Homer in exchange for an ice cold beer, which sounds like a fair trade to me!

Meerkat Milhouse

Mihouse falls asleep and images that he is a Meerkat on the plains of Africa.Much to the Ha ha’s of the rest of the class.

We are 80 issues in, and Bongo leads off the issue with a pretty entertaining read as scripted by Mr. E-rog himself, that certainly had me guessing until the very end as the story had some pretty cool twists and turns that ended with a hilarious finish. THe rest of the issue on the other hand was rather lacking as Bart really didn’t pay an integral part in anyone of them. That said, Maggie’s story was a pretty heart-warming tale, and I did think it was a pretty good idea to promote the Frink#1 special by putting a Frink story on there, as it helps warm you up before the grand slam that is the Frink special (more on that later).
