Full English officially cancelled!
We wrote about this show a little while ago surmising the future of the promising British animated series Full English. After the jump get the full statement
Greetings one and all. Apologies for silence – news is that the show’s officially cancelled at Channel 4, largely because of Squidge’s wage demands and insatiable coke habit.
But – the series will repeated on E4 in the next few months and there’s talk of showing episode 6 as part of the run. And we’ve just learned that the DVD will be released just after the E4 repeat, and it’s likely (but not confirmed) episode 6 will be on there.
We’re hugely thankful for everyone who watched and supported the show. And we’re also looking for a new home for it, exploring a couple of possibilities, so we’re hopeful season 2 might yet happen. We’ll keep you posted. In the meantime you can re watch on 4oD…
So, there it is folks, just like we guessed! Full English is canceled but I am happy to hear that the producers are trying different ways of getting the series back to life. I also LOVE the fact that episode 6 will see the light of day, even if that does mean on DVD rather than on TV. Rest assured, we are going to keep our eyes on this one for sure! Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
