‘Ted is still making a TON of money, beats out ‘Skyfall’ in Japan
Just when you thought there was no more Ted news for a while, Deadline.com is reporting that overseas the directorial debut of Seth MacFarlane is still producing big numbers which should appease critics of him hosting the Academy Awards this coming Sunday. According to the article, Ted grossed $32.5m in the box office narrowly beating out the latest James Bond flick Skyfall and now stands as the biggest R-rated comedy to ever premier in the land of the rising sun. Hopefully, this inspires a bunch of peeps in Japan to make cartoons worth watching as opposed to the terrible anime that currently resides on Toonami.
Check out our review for Ted here as well as the home release from a couple months back.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
