RATINGS ARE IN: ‘ARCHER’ POSTS GAINS
And this year Archer didn’t premier with any sort of super announced guest stars like Burt Reynolds, instead we got an ass-kicking surprise in terms of the Season 4 premier. Despite all this, Archer gained in the ratings and posted its highest premier to date according to Entertainment Weekly:
FX’s cult favorite animated series Archer returned Thursday night to its biggest adult demo rating ever. The spy comedy’s 10 p.m. season four premiere was seen by 1.6 million viewers (its second most-watched telecast of all time) and 1.3 million adults 18-49 (a series high) at 10 p.m.
This is great news for the show, and it serves to say that if the network does decide to split it would have a hardcore base to follow. Archer currently be found on FX, Thursday Nights @ 10pm EST, check your local listings!
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
