‘OUT THERE’ GETS OFFICIAL START DATE WITH SET CAST FOR THE @IFCTV PREMIER

We premiered the trailer for Out There last week, but now we’ve got a whole chock full of new info for IFC’s new animated  series set to premier this February. Some of its good, some of it has us scratching our heads.

Out There is set to premier February 22nd @ 10:30/9:30 pm CST on IFC. The series follows Chad an awkward kid played by creator Ryan Quincy(South Park) his little brother Jay (played by Kate Micucci) and his best friend, Chris played by Fish Hooks’ Justin Roiland. The series is being rounded out by Chad’s parents played by Futurama’s John Dimaggio(Wayne) and Children Hospital’s Megan Mullally(Rose). Chris is being raised by a single mother named ‘Joanie’ (Pamela Adlon) of whom has a boyfriend named ‘Terry’ played by Portlandia’s Fred Armisen. Lastly, Linda Cardenelli(Gravity Falls) plays the potential love interest for Chad playing the role of ‘Sharla’.

Out There is created, written by and executive produced by Quincy. Tony Gama-Lobo (King of the Hill) and Rebecca May (King of the Hill) are executive producers. Out There is produced for IFC by 20th Century Fox Television.

All of this sounds really promising except I am a little meh over the Friday night time-slot, but I suppose the show gives us something else to watch after all of the Disney late night stuff like Fish Hooks, etc.  Thankfully we won’t have to wait long to find out because IFC is doing a sneak peak on Friday, January 11 at 10:30/9:30c of which will give us more than a month to figure this thing out.
