COMICS REVIEW: BRAVEST WARRIORS #4

Right off the bat all of the Bravest Warriors get killed by Plum, but luckily their ‘ghosts’ are able to get new bodies! Plum finds out and tries to infiltrate their efforts by taking the form of a cupcake which of course leads to a cupcake battle between Plum’s green vs the Warriors’ orange one. The Warriors cupcake wins in convincing fashion and the Warriors get their bodies back.That said the fight ain’t over and when the guys show up to confront Plum we just get her hologram. The team ends up going back to Clown City with an ending that probably shouldn’t be spoiled.

“Trivial Reality”

A much better strip about the Warriors playing in a virtual reality game against history’s greatest foes! But is the internet to blame for their inaccuracies??

Overall I thought this issue was rather weak. The main story had so many plot holes in it I wanted to rip them out and use them with salami to make sandwiches. I also am starting to get confused as to whether I should be following the comic issues as canon or not as compared to the online series of the same name because at this juncture I just can’t tell. ‘Trivial Reality’ was a heck of a lot better with a more classic type of comic illustration littered with gags. That said, I’m not sure if this single story warrants the still ridiculously high priced comic.
