REVIEW: SUPERJAIL “BURNSTOOLIE BURN”

The Warden learns about friendship and fire.

And here I thought Jackknife was going to save that old lady….

Stingray has rounded up some help to try and start some shit, but Ash gets left behind. Later, the Warden decides to recruit Ash to help fix up his hobby room and although Stingray is trying to puss out, the rest of the inmates want to bail out their dude. Warden uses the opportunity to take Ash on a balloon ride where he shows Ash a skyview of Superjail whereby helping him appreciate his home. It’s here we see Warden and Ash are trading secrets which has the inmates thinking Ash is a snitch. When they confront him about it, they give Ash an ultimatum, burn down the Warden’s mansion or face the consequences! That’s exactly what happens, so to help stop it, the Warden sets Jared’s room on fire which leads to the most apocalyptic battle between inmates and crew that leads to the unleashing of Superhell and the freeing of Stingray! He takes off in an escape pod with Alicc with the destination being Ultraprison and Superjail still at war!

And what do ya know?? A cliffhanger of an episode! That’s right it looks as though the Season 4 kickoff is going to be pretty bad ass! But, until then we have this week’s episode of holding us over which does a fairly decent job of raising a bunch of questions. Like are the Warden and Ash really BFF’s?? Is Jailbot really dead???  That said, the finale was a lot of fun, and I fucking loved Superhell,as I think that it spewed the best and coolest looking monsters to date. We got a somewhat similar ending to last season’s Season 2 cliffhanger, which isn’t a bad thing. As a matter of fact,  I’m curious if we learn anything new on the DVD release for Season 3?? Like any good sci-fi series, I guess we will have to wait!
