RUG BURN CHANNEL PRESENTS NEW WEB SERIES CALLED “DUKE OF FANCY”

Its interesting to see these web channels feature shorts going somewhat political this past year is it not?? Channels like Shut Up Cartoons and Mondo Mini shows have already introduced or promoted new series that are usually some sort of knock against the political system. That tradition continues if not being put in the act of perfection with efforts coming from not only FOX’s ADHD web shorts, but now Rug Burn introduces a new series called Duke of Fancy. From a first glance it most certainly comes off as like some of the political cartoons you may see in a newspaper or the New Yorker.

The series stars Zack Keller, Ed Skudder of Dick Figures fame & John Dusenberry with both John and Zack taking on directing duties. Similar in concept to  the recently announced Gajillionaires on Comedy Central, Duke of Fancy looks to be a bit of a rag on the much maligned 1% types that supported Mitt Romney in an effort to make sure their money is safe and sound. Could I be way off on the premise?? Maybe, but I will continue to keep a close eye on where this idea goes on both Twitter and Facebook. Check out the clip below and tell me if I’m crazy or not.
