REVIEW: CRASH AND BERNSTEIN “EDUCATING CRASH”

Wyatt takes Crash to school with him, but Crash gets in trouble with the vice-principal while trying to act cool.

Spoilers Below

The girls are complaining about Crash being like everywhere and are voicing their complaints to Mel. Yep, they want Crash GONE but Wyatt wants to keep him so Mel wants to keep him, too. However, Mel is going to be sending Crash to school of which he things is a lot like the prisons he watches on TV. Crash soon learns of what the realities of school is, with bullies, metal detectors, and people searching you. Here comes Pesto with a new terrible cologne followed closely by Principal Takashi of whom gets Crash set up with gym gear, a head shot, and soon a panic attack that leads the crazy stuffed kid screaming through the halls. Later, Crash challenges the “Slapper” and wins thereby taking out the biggest guy on the block so as to serve warning to the other ‘prisoners’.

The big gamble pays off, Crash and Bernstein are seen as the tough guys on this school block which soon starts to gain ears at the arcade. Amanda is there and she’s trying to find answers as to why her brother Wyatt is more popular than she is even to the high school kids. Despite being the tough guy at school, Crash is still seen as a nuisance to Cleo at home and wants him to find his own room to sleep in. Back at school, Crash is being treated like the godfather which starts to irk the principal who isn’t liking all of the extra attention. This drives Crash mad again causing both he and Wyatt to pull the fire alarm but only Wyatt gets the blame so that his brother can continue to go to school. After Crash finds a new place to sleep at the loss of Cleo, the girls decide to post an ad to try and get rid of Crash once and for all, but as expected that doesn’t work at all.

I don’t know what it was but this seemed to be the best directed episode by a mile. For one, Pesto wasn’t in it all that much(always a plus) and we got introduced to a great new character in the school principal of whom already looks locked in to start busting balls. Also, Crash was an absolute riot this episode, everything from pulling out Amanda’s tampon, to his alone time with the princess doll, and now his nude scenes which the big black stripe! I gotta tell ya, this is the edgiest show on Disney XD now, and if you aren’t watching it you should definitely give it a shot.
