IF YOU LIVE IN NYC/NJ YOU SHOULD GO TO THIS HURRICANE SANDY BENEFIT

As much as we like to laugh and have a good time here at Bubbleblabber, we are STILL a NJ-based company and the tragedies of Hurricane Sandy still march on even with the winter months and the holidays fast approaching. As such, when I heard about this new benefit the Rauch Brothers were doing in Brooklyn tonight, I felt it definitely needed mention. Yep, the NY Film/Video Council and Rooftop Films are teaming up with the creative team behind the StoryCorps Animation to put together a benefit panel to help the victims of Hurricane Sandy.

Entry is $10 and it is highly recommend you bring supplies to the event to help the victims. It is said in the presser that clothing is not needed but other items are including flashlights, aaa batteries, gallon ziplock bags, brooms, flat shovels, mops, masks and gloves, any sort of baby/toddler food and formula duct and scotch tape, deodorant, tampons, soap, can openers. The event takes place tonight at the Brooklyn Music School and all proceeds go to benefit the people who have been affected by Hurricane Sandy. Click here for more information and to buy tickets fast as it takes place tonight @ 7pm EST.
