REVIEW: REGULAR SHOW “STARTER PACK”
The guys protect Thomas from Muscle Man.
Spoilers Below
Its Thomas’ first week and he’s already made it through the initiation which is pretty much providing light hazing rituals at the new guys’ expense. Unfortunately, the king of pranks aka Muscle Man ain’t done despite Mordecai and Rigby’s pleading. You can kinda tell Thomas is trying his best to take it in stride but Mordecai and Rigby still feel kinda bad so they go to Skips to try and get help but he doesn’t do shit. As such the guys go to Thomas and try to convince him to fight back but the new guy doesn’t want to fuck around with his superior. To try and get help, Mordecai and Rigby try to get Benson to help out and as it turns out the park actually has a policy on pranks and even have a training video to go along with it. The term is called “over-pranking” and Muscles is guilty so Mordecai and Rigby get him back with a prank but blame it on Thomas which leads the gross dude to get after Thomas like a bull. Thankfully, the guys find Thomas before Muscle Man does but not by much because a full on chase ensues leading to the parking lot where Thomas’ car is. Despite the fact that Thomas speeds off, Muscle Man launches a small house at the new guys car crushing it instantly and blowing it the fuck up leaving us to believe he’s dead. Only to find out that Muscle Man and Thomas put together the Burger King of all ‘death-hoax’ pranks!
I’m starting to LOVE Thomas in this show. Like he just seems like a great fit and despite the fact that you would think he would be better friends with Mordecai and Rigby, new guy Thomas goes the other route. The pranks were all funny including the ones in the video tape(yea video tape) helping give Muscle Man a bunch of ideas. Also, the chase scene with Muscle Man versus everyone else was all sorts of cataclysmic and I thought for sure Thomas was in that car in the last scene!! Yep, it was just another day at the office for Regular Show and I’m soakin’ it up!
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
