RATINGS ARE IN 9/30: ‘THE SIMPSONS’ WIN THE NIGHT BUT BOB’S HAS STRONG SHOWING
The ratings are in for last Sunday Night and according to Deadline.com The Simpsons won the night with a strong return showing but overall all of the series’ premiered low but Bob’s Burgers started off pretty well:
For a second straight Premiere Sunday, Fox had a football overrun, buoying ratings and making year-to-year comparisons fair. The Simpsons launched its 25th season with a 3.7/10, down 5% from last year. Family Guy (3.3/8) was down 20%; American Dad (2.5/6) down 17%. The only show bucking the down trend was Bob’s Burgers (2.5/6) at 8:30 PM, which was up 32% from its last year’s debut in March with a much smaller lead-in.
That said, we get the return of The Cleveland Show starting this Sunday Night so it will be interesting to see if there is another football delay and if so how that will affect the ratings.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
