#NYCC 2012 RECAP: @ADULTSWIM AND @TITMOUSE WERE MADE FOR EACH OTHER
4) Superjail
So, as previously mentioned the guys behind Superjail (including creators Stephen Warbrick, Christy Karacas, David Wain as the Warden, Richard Mather as the Twins, and others) were on hand for NYCC and with them they brought a new episode entitled “Burn, Stoolie, Burn”. The most interesting part of the viewing was David Wain leaving behind his snacks, and sitting on the probably dirty 1A10 floor of the Javits Center to watch with the fans. He clearly didn’t wash his hands when he started eating his cookie but if that proved anything its that they got the guy that not only plays the Warden who runs Superjail but hey he really IS him. As for the Q&A, we had this jackhole of an anti-violence guy expressing his views about all of the violence in the show. One of the more interesting parts was Christy talking about slowly but surely expanding some of the back story of the hundreds of ancillary characters Superjail has housed which is expanding on what looks to be his vision of not only keeping up with the crazy and maniacal part of the show, but also expanding plot points. From the looks of it, Superjail is in good(if not always squeaky-clean) hands.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
