REVIEW: PHINEAS AND FERB “WHAT’D I MISS”

Ferb gets back from a debate and as such Phineas wants to spill his brother in on the details of what he missed. Candace thinks this is going to be a confession of her brother doing something outlandish again and as a result calls for her mother. After which, Buford tells his story of teaching domesticated squirrels how to dance that is until a drop of water falls out of nowhere and washes away the squirrels on to mini-surf boards that Phineas invented. After hearing the story, Linda treats Candace to some peach cobbler.

Meanwhile, Perry takes off to deal with a peach missing problem probably called by Doof. The critter finds Doof over at the beach where the evil scientist is tearin’ it up at a clam bake.  Turns out Doof has a story of his own where instead of Perry, we get another agent from OWCA that is a rhino of whom is stuck listening to the diabolical plan.Turns out Doof had built a ‘Leaky-faucetnator” that would ruin Roger Doof’s beauty pageant but after the rhino destroys the thing it crashes and both of the machine’s former inhabitants end up entering the pageant and win in a talent show! This inspires Doof to come up with a peach-cobblerinator where everyone who judges contests will want peach cobbler because that’s the only thing Doof knows how to make.That said, Perry destroys the weapon and flies off leaving Doof’s cobbler to burn.

I hated the overall premise of this episode being a memory type thing and the way it was edited to the point of endless back and forth between the two plots I felt left the whole thing convoluted and incomprehensible. The rhino agent was a nice touch which helped not make this episode a complete loss, but hopefully we get better stuff in two weeks when the show comes back.
