‘TED’ STILL IN TOP 10 @ BOX OFFICE, HELPS UNIVERSAL REACH $1B IN REVENUE

According to Deadline.com Seth MacFarlane’s Ted is still in the top 10 of the domestic box office hauling in just under $4 mil to help bring a US total of $210 mil. Ted has also helped Universal Pictures in getting to $1B in domestic revenue and its the fastest the studio has gotten to that HUGE number since 2008. Ted is in theaters now and recently Seth MacFarlane was in an interview with UK’s The Shuttle where he talked about Ted’s charm:

“Ted has a lot of love and enthusiasm and a zest for life but no self-editing mechanism, so what he says is really the first thing that pops to mind,” says 38-year-old Seth MacFarlane who wrote, directed and produced Ted, and voiced the titular character.

On an unrelated note, I was at SunCoast video recently and they had Ted dolls for sale for around $60. If I wasn’t broke I probably would’ve done that for sure.
