‘SPRINGFIELD., OREGON WANTS TO DO A SIMPSONS THEME

Imagine walking down the street and hanging out with Homer Simpson or Mickey Mouse? Where are we??? Los Angeles? NYC?? Disney World??? The 7th layer of hell??? Nope, rather Springfield, Oregon. Yep, remember that whole snafu a while back about Matt Groening hinting at where The Simpsons actually live? Welp, Frozen Yogurt shop owner Jack Koehler wants to do just that according to an article from the Register Guard.

In it, it talks of Mr. Koehler wanting to put together a ‘Simpsonville” where not only America’s favorite family would be prominently displayed, but a whole ‘Cartoonville” would open up in the efforts of driving a bunch of tourism. Apparently, Koehler already has a petition with about 500 signatures all over the world so the deal is getting some good press.
