REVIEW: SQUIDBILLIES “The Legend of Kid Squid”
Early frames Rusty for a series of crimes but then becomes jealous of all the attention Rusty receives.
Spoilers Below
Apparently, Early can’t get locked up this weekend so when he crashes the truck with Rusty in it, he blames it on his son because he’s a minor. The Sheriff takes Rusty in and tells him that if he could get tried by the city and if so is looking at some hard time. In hoping that Early will come clean, Sheriff actually goes to visit the sumbitch to see if he will give himself up instead of letting his first born get reemed for his daddy’s mistakes including the recent liftings of ATM machines.
Weirdly enough, the press gives Rusty a new nickname, “Kid Squid” which sets off Early because now his son is getting all the credit for his crimes. In an attempt to gain some notoriety, Rusty tries to fuck with the town’s oldest tree but no one gives a shit. Hell, Early even calls into a radio station and tries to come clean and even throws himself into jail but Sheriff won’t let him. But, when Early tries to leave the station there’s a hell of an angry mob outside and guess what, looks like Early’s got plans for the weekend.
This week’s episode was only OK and served up few high spots and basically just gives us the standard Early fare of him robbing shit, not getting blame for it, and blah blah. Like I even thought the towns tree would’ve had a funnier demise but nothing really happened with it. Granny was kind of funny, but really was a dim light in an otherwise dull offering from Georgia.

"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
