REVIEW: FUTURAMA “NATURAMA”

A three part nature documentary, the first being about all of the characters of Futurama as fresh water salmon with Fry searching for his love aka Leela whom is also a salmon but from a different habitat. Its because of this it would seem they couldn’t be a match because their young can only be in one spot and it has to be in Leela’s stream. Also, as soon as the male and female mate they die so Fry salmon works to make it over to Leela’s nest just in time to spread his seed.

The next story sees everyone as birds except Farnsworth who is a tortoise and Bender who is an iguana.  The birds eat parasites off of Hubert’s skin but that’s not enough to ease his pain as he is searching for his long lost love. Eventually, the birds convince Hubert to climb up a mountain to get at his lady which of course takes forever. At first Hubert mistakes a rock for a tortoise and starts to bang it out but the lady shows up and the reptiles fuck making babies that just die anyway,

Now we have the elephant seals. Everyone is an elephant seal with Bender being the beach master and Scruffy being a walrus. That said, the Kif seal wants to bang out the Amy seal but the Bender seal won’t allow it. As such, Kif waits til Bender falls asleep and grabs dinner for Amy making her horny as a mo fo. However, Bender stops any sort of funny business which causes Kif to a duel with the big fat ass. Welp, Bender pretty much destroys the small fry therefore keeping all his ladies secure…or did he??

All three plots were pretty much the same which makes me a bit miffed, and the fact that we get two nature docs about creatures that live near water made it difficult to mask the somewhat underwhelming stories.  That said I kind of warmed up to the characters after watching it a second time but other than that meh. The other episode was better, and if I really want a nature doc I will just stick to Nature Break.
