REVIEW: AQUA SOMETHING YOU KNOW WHATEVER “BUDDY NUGGET”

Frylock’s social networking device summons a pre-release party!

Fry introduces a new toy called the ‘Buddy Nugget” which scans brains and helps you find like-minded buddies that share similar interests with you. With Meatwad it works getting him new buddies almost immediately, but with Shake nothing happens causing Frylock to think that his new gizmo needs more field testing. The next subject?? Carl!! Welp, Fry helps Carl lock on to two new buddies both of whom like sports, cars, and shoving while talking trash thereby proving to Shake that the gadget works. Like normal, Master wants to make a bunch of money on this fast, even though Frylock hasn’t copyrighted yet and wants to keep it a secret, so the Shakester throws two parties, one at the local dive bar for all the nerds, and another with just Shake and a bunch of dancing bitches at a disco joint! When Fry finds out, he gets pissed because he isn’t even allowed in his own party so he summons his buddy, Dr. Balthazar to help out.

The Dr., literally blows the roof off the joint, but Shake gets away in his stripper-copter and onto a party boat. When Fry and the gang show up, Shake tells Fry that he sold a 25% stake in the product to Flavor Flave. At first Frylock is pissed, but we soon find out that Flavor Flave isn’t who he says he is and despite the fact that Shake owns the copyright, chances are it isn’t going anywhere.

I loved the dance music they were playing during the parties and now I want to go download it. Dr. Blathazar was awesome and I really hope we see him more often and I thought I had Flavor Flave’s voice pegged for someone else but I guess I was wrong. Having said that, this episode was your standard affair of “Fry makes something and Shake screws it up” which is fine, but I wish we could’ve seen more of Carl’s buddies because I really thought that they were funny, especially when they were all arguing with each other acting like tough guys! Hahahaa…good episode!
