IGN TALKS WITH ‘WRECK-IT RALPH’ PRODUCERS
Every once in a while IGN.com does a good piece and as such I thought this one deserved mention. Recently, IGN had a chance to visit Disney Animation Studios and talk with Rich Moore(Futurama, The Simpsons) and producer Clark Spencer about the upcoming film Wreck-It Ralph and to be honest the read-through made me more excited in wanting to see the film. In one part of the article, the writer comments on the massive scale of the movie:
Just to put it in perspective, most animated movies have somewhere in the neighborhood of 40 or 50 character designs, but Wreck-It Ralph boasts a staggering 188. What’s more, dozens of these models are based on actual characters from actual video games.
I think Monsters, Inc is the one movie where I can remember there being a world where a bunch of different characters are on screen at once but they weren’t very well known. Wreck-It Ralph is in theaters November 2nd, 2012 and you can check out the trailer here! You can also read the rest of the IGN article here.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
