REVIEW: THE ANNOYING ORANGE “DR. STRANGEPLUM”

The gang attend a dinner at a mysterious mansion and soon realize they may soon be on the menu.

Spoilers Below

Orange and the gang crash land right outside the house of where they are scheduled for dinner so Nerville is out of the picture pretty quickly which is always a good thing. Pretty much, they are set to meet up with Dr. Strangeplum of whom is hosting a dinner party. Right away, the house seems creepy with the pictures on the wall, but things get weirder when every time the lights go and different fruits start disappearing including the host of the evening, Strangeplum.

Eventually, everyone gets picked off with the exception of Passion, Marshmallow, and Orange but due to Orange’s top notch detective skills is able to deduce that Marshmallow isn’t even around and instead Strangeplum has been dressed up in a Marshmallow costume the entire time!! Its cool thought, because the Dr. was just playing an illusion and it turns out all of the fruit were OK just in time for Nerville to return with the cart…

This episode was all about the fabulous Tim Curry providing a guest spot as Dr. Strangeplum, and why not put him in the perfect setting given his illustrious history. As a matter of fact, I watched Scary Movie 2 today and he pretty much played the same role. Also, any episode where Nerville is pretty much non existent is always a good thing, but he always seems to rear his stupid ugly head. Having said that, the overall premise was a lot of fun  and with Orange’s one-liners keeping the jokes going I would say it was a good episode.
