REVIEW: SQUIDBILLIES “BEWARE THE BUTT-CUTTER”

The Sheriff asks the town people to help catch a serial killer.

Spoilers Below

A serial killer is on the loose and the Sheriff is looking for leads,  so Deputy Denny suggests they look for help using more ‘supernatural’ means. In this case that means Granny Squid, of whom is apparently able to talk to the dead. Strangely enough, the Sheriff starts to suspect Early is behind all the murders as who ever did seems to have the same fashion sense, and Early can’t account for where he was the night before. Eventually Granny is so over come by her nervousness of Early, she decides to take Rusty on a cross country trip to get away from him after donning disguises and taking on the personas of “The Goldens”.

Early actually finds out where “The Goldens” live, but thankfully Sheriff tells Granny that they found the killer and he’s in lockup. But, do they have the right guy?? Deputy Denny thinks about it and is under the impression that Dan Halen may be the guy they are after due to the fact that he has a brand new suit made out of severed butts, the popular calling card of the supposed killer. However, Sheriff decides not to go through with charging Dan, cuz well that’s his boss.

Solid episode of Squidbillies, with some solid twists and turns throughout the plot. It was good seeing Dan Halen again as he may be the funniest character of the bunch but Granny was really funny too as she was dragging the poor Sheriff and his deputy all over the place as she was seeing ‘visions’. I thought the entire episode that the culprit was Early, but was pleasantly surprised to learn otherwise.
