REVIEW: REGULAR SHOW” FANCY RESTAURANT”

Muscle Man hopes to impress at a fancy dinner with his girlfriend’s parents.

Muscle and his lady Starla are looking to take their relatonship to the next level so she decides to introduce her parent at a fancy restaurant where the dress code is formal and the personality is fancy. As such Mordecai and Rigby take it upon themselves to help Muscle Man dress up nice and all sorts of primpy and proper. During the night of the big meal, Muscle Man is really just being coached through the whole thing by Rigby while Mordecai acts like their waiter. At first everything goes smoothly with topical conversation and a fancy feast.

Soon enough however, one of the other waiters of the restaurant opt to try and ruin the evening for Muscle Man by beating the hell out of Mordecai and ruining Rigby’s radio equipment. But, when the waiter and a bunch of security guys try to kick out Muscle Man and Starla’s family they end up in a all out rumble where we learn that Starla’s dad hates being fancy too. After they clean house the group does the only sensible thing…GET WINGS!

I sure did miss me some Regular Show! Opening riffs were all pretty standard as the whole “makeover to impress a girl routine” has been done the world over, but this show’s spin on it involving the all out brawl in the end certainly spiced things up a bit. Almost reminded me of the dream sequence from Dumb and Dumber. PS, I’m totally taking wings over fancy feast any day of the week!
