REVIEW: PHINEAS AND FERB “NORM UNLEASHED”
Phineas and Ferb build nanobots that they can assemble into any object they imagine. Meanwhile, Norm battles Perry with his new built-in gadgets.
Spoilers Below
Phineas and Ferb create nanobots that can form any objects in thin air provided you have the remote and Candace is having none of it. At first the machines that Phineas creates are small, helicopters, cars, etc of which Candace gets a hold of one and tries to show her mom once and for all that her brothers are up to no good. Instead, Linda passes off her daughter’s evidence as nothing more than a model leaving Candace to start over. Eventually, Phineas starts making life like objects like cars, and planes in which him and his friends go nuts driving all over the place! But, wait….where’s Perry?
Dr. Doof is in jury duty against an old nemesis so when the judge finds out that the case may be compromised she sends them both to jail. But, not before Doof tells Norm to stay behind and take care of Perry! At first Norm almost seems unstoppable, traversing through downtown destroying everything in sight, but then Perry gets a hold of Phineas’ remote controlled nanobots and is able to somewhat combat the mechanized masher. Soon enough, Perry forms an acorn with his gadget which might make you think, “That’s not gonna work??” and you’d be right. But, with Norm’s machinery powered by a squirrel-wheel, the acorn ends up being the ultimate thing to take the big-bot down!!
Overall, a pretty rad episode of Phineas and Ferb with quite a few differences from the norm. For one, this might be the closest Candace has almost caught the boys in the act and Doof nearly takes down all of Danbury with the Norm-bot. Also, its not too often that Perry actually uses something that his owner-Phineas builds in order to stop bad guys, but that’s exactly what happens this episode. Big shout out to John Viener as he is one of my favorite voice actor having done a shit ton of work on the Seth MacFarlane-toons as he returns for Norm. Not too mention the “Weaponry” song he sings is pretty great.

"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
