Spoilers Below

Phineas and Ferb build a machine that can turn ANYTHING into liquid. You name it, steak, chicken, and by all sorts of accident Candace! Luckily, Phineas is able to turn Candace back from an orange mess into a mold formed by a bucket but we’re only half way there so he also makes a sort of Candace-sized cookie cutter where he pours his sister’s ingredients and voila she’s back!

Meanwhile, Dr. Doof has turned himself into a platypus so that he can once and for all defeat Perry. Problem is, they are so evenly matched that no matter what they do to each other, neither one can knock the other one out! To try and get the upper hand, Doofapus grabs his “doubleinator” in an attempt to clone himself so that TWO platypus’ can maybe take out Perry. That is until the mad scientist sets off the machine zapping Phineas’ liquid machine which then gets cloned and then they both set off thereby creating puddles instead of machines and no proof of the boys’ antics despite Candace’s best efforts. Back at Doof, Inc Perry knocks out the evil doctor and destroys both of his machines which sets Doof back to normal.

Overall, an OK week of Phineas and Ferb. I did think the dual platypus’ were a novel idea as the bit kind of took on a Matrix Revolutions type role with equals not able to cancel each other out. Also, the Candace-sized mold to bring her back to normal was cute, but at the end of the day I thought the only laughs coming tonight were from Doof. He really is the one who carries this show in the funny dept but I’ll take it!
