Spoilers Below
THE PRINCE AND THE PENAL SYSTEM
Bart gets tickets to a taping of “Kids N Cons” a show where kids get sent to prison as part of a scared straight program. However, its also Homer’s favorite show so he declines and instead gets Martin to take his place. At first, Bart things its bad idea sending Martin to a prison filled with convicted cons, but evidently his brand of entertainment goes over well with the prisoners and instead he gets his own spin-off greenlighted!
WEDGIE ISSUE
Milhouse decides to create a sort of “Get Out of Jail” system but instead of jail time we get wedgie time. Pretty much, if someone tries to give one of Springfield’s less than fortunate citizens a wedgie, they would use a remote control to signal Milhouse or one of his associates as a stand-in for one free wedgie. The service doesn’t come cheap however, as Milhouse is looking to charge $5 a head as a charge for taking it in the ass. He thinks, that after enough machines have been sold, Lisa Simpson will be his forever! “In Your Dreams!!”
ROCK ‘N’ ROLL
Bart gets hit in the head by a rock thrown by Nelson, so he goes into this comatose state where he thinks he is a caveman being attacked by dinosaurs. According to Lisa, this doesn’t make sense but indeed a T-Rex chases Homer-sapien and Bart for a while, that is until Bart knocks himself out again which gets him to wake up in bed…WITH DONUTS!!
The first two stories were scripted to the point where nobody came off as sounding like them normal selves. Like, Skinner and Homer in the first story had lines that I guarantee no one would say in The Simpsons show. Case in point, Homer uses the word ‘comeuppance’?? Had I known Homer became some sort of SAT whiz, maybe it would be a bit more believe able then maybe I would buy that but, nah. ‘Wedgie Issue’ was still a ways off but the story had a novel concept and I always enjoy seeing Milhouse stories mainly because he has a bit more of a fantastical imagination than most of the other characters so it works great in comics. As for the last story, I would think a cave-people influenced Simpsons would be known as The Flintstones, right?? Jus, sayin’.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
