Steve has a really active imagination as he keeps making random trips back and forth to “Imagination-Land World” to the point where it annoys the help out of Stan. After being thwarted in an attempt to throw out his son’s toys, Stan decides to take Steve to a Mexican whorehouse to lose his virginity in the hopes that his new found man hood will help relieve him of all his toys. However, once they get to Mexico they have a hard time finding a clean whorehouse as they stumble on to one that featured a dude with two special guests…Jennifer Lopez and Jennifer Lopez( remember when in South Park Cartman had a special guest ventriloquist act?) and another that causes everyone to vomit all over the streets of mexico ala Family Guy’s ipecac scene or when Brian finds out he fucked a transvestite.
Meanwhile, Roger is on a quest to find some “Rain Duck” wine to go along with two steaks that Francine had bought for dinner. Turns out Terry and Greg bought the last bottle from the local winery and as such tries multiple ploys in getting it. After multiple failed attempts however, Francine just waltzes over to Terry and Greg’s house with a spatula and smacks the shit out of both of them taking the wine bottle in time for dinner. Of course, once Francine puts the bottle down, she gets knocked out of the room with a huge wrecking ball, leaving Roger alone with his thoughts and his two steaks.
While in Mexico, Stan and Steve have been captured and held hostage in a Mexican dungeon. However, Steve turns on his imagination dream sequence(almost like Inception at this juncture) and lures his captors in the cell thereby allowing him and his dad to make a break for the border. “Bye, have a beautiful time!”
This was the finale? It seemed as though the writers for American Dad ran out of ideas and just took everyone else’s. From the obvious lifts from Family Guy to the blatant South Park spots it was just bad. I mean fuck, did you know Oliver Stone ALSO was taken to a whorehouse to lose his virginity? So as such, the writers didn’t even use an original premise! The other plot with Roger and Francine was actually pretty funny however it was against Terry and Greg of whom we almost NEVER see become a focal point of any story lines so I thought it was strange that they were the competition. That might be the one downfall of American Dad where unlike shows like The Simpsons or Family Guy they never really did a great job of utilizing other characters in Langley Falls its always just been whomever lives under Stan’s house. Maybe the finale came right on time for the writers to recharge their batteries so that hopefully next season we get fresh and more original stories.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
