A new girl starts at Waterman Cable an she is the best! She brings donuts and make your own pizza and her name is Tori! And she’s the apple in Cleveland’s eye much to the chagrin of Donna who is clearly jealous of the more attractive Tori. Even after Donna forbids Cleveland from seeing the new woman, he does anyway by going out with her and work friends for some ‘frapps, but as luck would have it Donna catches them in the act. Meanwhile, Rallo and Junior are checking out online videos. They eventually make a video of Cleveland on the wrong end of a Frapp Attack which pisses of Donna because she’s trying to forget Tori. However, when the video his the web, a music mogul called Willie Nillie offers a recording contract due to its half a million hits in 20 minutes. Weird enough, Willie and Donna start to become quite a bit more cozy together with Willie soon falling for the married mother of three. Willie gets jealous to the point where he wants Cleveland’s life, so Cleveland takes the music mogul through a normal day as a cable dad.
There was a lot to like in this week’s episode of The Cleveland Show. I really liked the way Tori was able to fit right into the cast and make herself feel right at home as sometimes guest stars and new characters have a difficult time doing that with such an established cast. I do feel both the A-plot and B-plot were somewhat unoriginal, I mean how many “wife/husband gets jealous because their spouse meets a new guy/girl at work” stories have we seen? Furthermore, even the whole “lets make some funny Youtube vids” have been done by Family Guy, South Park, and The Simpsons to death! Having said that, there were some good highlights with both stories, for example Rallo kicking Cleveland in the balls throughout the episode I could’ve watched til the cows come home, and the opening musical number featuring Cleveland might be one of the best songs ever covered in an animated series. I was going to score this a ‘meh’ rating, but seeing as how we won’t have new Cleveland Show for two weeks I’ll thumb it up. Frap Frap Frap-attack!
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
