You would think Dan would be tickled by the fact that a T-Rex is loose in Los Angeles, but when that same T-Rex wrecks Dan’s car its WAR! To help with his cause he enlists Chris and Ben to go round up all of the neighborhood dogs and use them as bait to try and draw out the beast. Eventually, the dinosaur does appear causing the guys to make a break for it for a crocodile hunter named Mel to try and recruit him to help Ben, Dan, and Chris in catching the prehistoric creature. Thankfully, the guys find the big dino at the local museum and even try and put up a fight, but Ben splits and Chris gets eaten whole.

Meanwhile, Elise is given the important task of covering up the fact that there is a HUGE dinosaur on the loose. As such, she dresses up as a geologist and as an old lady to try and give a bunch of phony news to the local TV network to help stave off the public’s scent. Unfortunately, while the camera guys are shooting the huge reptile shows up so Elise gets ordered by her boss to kill it. She teams up with Dan and make it up through the burger joint of which Tyra the dinosaur is sitting on. However, once they get up there they decide not to kill it and Dan even ends up fighting Mel from making a mockery of his new favorite pet. Thankfully, Ben saves the day and Tyra decides to move to Argentina. Oh yea, and Chris gets ummm digested..tee hee!!

This week’s episode of Dan Vs was WAY better than both Godzilla film and Jurassic Park II put together. For one, I loved the way the story just seemed to unfold more and more where yes there was a dinosaur featured but the episode wasn’t ABOUT the dinosaur, rather it was about Dan’s car getting smashed and him getting revenge. This is GREAT because it still kept a sense that this was Dan’s show and not Tyra’s. Even the B-plot with Elise was perfectly executed helping give us the break we needed between the big time scenes with Dan vs Tyra even to the point where the plot helped the story along as opposed to being a hindrance *cough* Cleveland Show. Dan Vs is getting serious, and as such would definitely recommend that if you can’t watch it you set your DVR because you are missing a good time if you haven’t checked this show out.
