IFC GETS ‘OUT THERE’
IFC GETS ‘OUT THERE’
Deadline.com is at it again, as they are reporting that the IFC network is green lighting a new animated series called Out There set to premier January 2013. The series is being written and produced by former South Park animation director Ryan Quincy. According to the report:
Premieres January 2013
OUT THERE follows the coming-of-age adventures of Chad, his little brother Jay, and best friend Chris. Living in a small town, the boys run face first into the wall of adolescence, the horrors of puberty, first loves, mortal enemies, local legends, and social ostracism. They experience the wonderment and frustration of that terrifying limbo between childhood and adulthood. Growing up is weird to do… OUT THERE.
OUT THERE is created, written by and executive produced by Emmy® winning animation director and producer, Ryan Quincy, who was the longtime animation director for South Park. The series is produced for IFC by 20th Century Fox Television.
Sounds like fun, I’m still wondering when the fuck IFC is going to green light Cartoon Show that they were developing with Augenblick studios what seems like forever ago!
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
