BONGO COMICS REVIEW: BART SIMPSON #68

Bart plans to get back at the school bullies leads to a panic in the streets and an entire town in search of gold! Then, Jimbo, Dolph, and Kearney… a whole lot of eggs… and the Duff Blimp get the picture? Also, Sergio Aragones lets loose in another installment of ‘Maggie’s Crib.’

FREE RANGE

When the bullies get a hold of a large assortment of eggs, they don’t know what to do with them! All the good ideas have been taken, that is until Jimbo consults the one and only Bart Simpson as to what they should do. Bart of course comes up with an awesome plan, but is left on the short-end of it.

THE GREAT SPRINGFIELD GOLD RUSH

Bart fools the town into thinking that he struck gold, but really its just him leaving a trail of fake gold all around town. This gets Springfield into a digging frenzy, willing to go all out in the unlikely event that they will strike rich.

Decent stories all around. Nothing really jumped out at me in terms of jokes, the way the FREE RANGE story ended was funny but really just left me hungry for eggs. The GOLD RUSH story pretty much did the same thing, nothing really popping out, but thats not a bad thing, but overall I thought last week’s Simpsons Comic was a lot better.
