REVIEW: MARY SHELLEY’S FRANKENHOLE: “ROBERT LOUIS STEVENSON’S BELUSHI”

John Belushi turns into a monster after drinking Dr. Jekyll’s serum.

Spoilers Below

John Belushi’s(David Cross) in town, and hes more outta control than anyone else, which proves one thing…John Belushi is God. But, he needs to get ready for his show, so he gets brought to the great Dr. Frankenstein, where John stumbles onto a serum created by Dr Jekyll that turns him into a monster…the monster of JIM Belushi!!! And as it turns out, Jim is even worse than John, and the Dr. has to try and change him back. The cure? Well cocaine of course!

This week’s offering was leaps and bounds funnier than the premier. Of course anything with David Cross in it is solid gold, but the fact that Jim Belushi is considered the monster and John was the one everyone wants to be with was off the walls funny. Also, as a fan of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde novel it was duly noted that the one counter agent to the fast-acting monster serum is a narcotic that has become an American tradition.
