Bart’s science fair project, a mechanical baby seal, outshines Lisa’s brainy asteroid model and becomes a popular pet among the retirement home patrons. Meanwhile, Homer gets a new and eager assistant Roz (guest voice Lynch), but when he quickly loses his job to her and discovers her evil past, he and Flanders team up to reveal her true dark colors

Its a science fair and Lisa and Bart are gearing up and Bart doesn’t have a clue what he’s doing. So Bart, enlists Martin for help in exchange for gym class priveleges.  Then come up with a Robotic baby seal with Homer getting attacked by it screaming “Marge get the Seal Club! The Big One!!!”  At the fair, Bart and Martin won and Lisa starts acting like a jealous bitch at the retirement home. While there, the seal befriends a lonely Jasper and along with heroine now becomes a favorite amongst all of the residents at the home. Unfortunately, the corrupted management of the home catches wind and has plans to turn the little guys into vicious killers that are rounded up and sent to jail. Not ones to be outdone, Bart and Martin turn to Professor Frink who helps jam their signals to be good guys again.

At the power plant, Homer gets a new assistant name Roz, who just blasts him with compliments left and right. Also, shes great for covering for Homer when he wants to randomly go to the movies during work hours. This gets Homer in trouble with Burns and grants him a demotion. This makes Roz the boss and all of the sudden she becomes a bitch at work so Homer turns to Flanders for help in taking her down.

Even though the Roz character didn’t become prevalent until the latter half of the episode, the Bart story was so good that I didn’t notice. Jane Lynch was great and I hope we see her again because she played off Homer rather well. Kudos to Homer for the Lebron smash and for Flanders bringing the ‘stones’.
