Review: SouthPark “Bass to Mouth”

The students of South Park Elementary are the victims of a new gossip web site. An elusive hacker has somehow gained access into the student’s confidential phone calls and e-mails and is posting all their juicy stories. The boys are shocked when they discover the identity of the hacker.

So…ummmmm yea. Take your favorite aspects of The Departed, Fantasia, and the Wikileaks story and roll them into one.  How you ask? Well, for starters the kids are all buzzing about a new site called Eavesdropper which divulges the latest happenings in South Park Elementary. This week’s top story? Pete Melman shits his pants!(we’ve all been there) Cartman, being the douche bag that he is starts yelling about it all over school. Fearing a repeat of last year when Corey Duran killed himself after shitting HIS pants, the SPE faculty recruit Cartman to stop the spreading of rumors about Melman.

The rest of the kids look to discover who is typing all this shit up, only to find out that its a RAT who goes by the name Wikilinks. This sonovabitch runs around with a microphone strapped to his forehead listening to everyone’s conversations and then scurries to the nearest computer to write it up. Somewhere in here, we get introduced to a Ghostly Frog Prince who finds Wikilinks’ brother LemmiLinks to help stop his evil brother. Aw shit…

You gotta love Cartman’s brilliant plan…ready? “Everyone craps their pants, nobody’s singled out – problem solved.” -Cartman”

HAHAHAHA….so to make this happen the faculty try and setup a Pizza Hut party with the kids but with Ex-Lax laden pizza slices (fun fact for ya, if they had ordered the Stuft Crust and it would’ve done the same thing), which sounds like a great plan but not until the Wikilinks records the details of their diabolical plan in order to publish it to the world. The only one who can stop Wikilinks? A triple-team trio of not only the Frog Prince and Lemmelinks, but also a ghostly Catatafish, and a Sparrow fish.

I’m not going to spoil the ending just because it’s pretty awesome, go to SouthParkStudios.com to watch it. But, I’ll give Cliff’s Notes…Cartman gets thrown under the bus by the faculty and a fight amongst rats that ends in bloodshed. But, the true beauty? Let’s just say Cartman took care of the faculty…
