#7 of Animated Shows That Should Come Back
If you liked Scrubs as much as I do you know who Bill Lawrence is(the producer of said show). Right now he produces a show called Cougar Town with Courtney and David Arquette and I haven’t seen it or have even attempted to but Scrubs was one of the best shows on TV. What some might not know however is that in 2003, a show called Clone High was on Teletoon and MTV, and had pretty much the whole Scrubs cast in it and was produced by Lawrence himself. You would think this show would have some legs, but it only had the one season but I think it deserves a 2nd chance.
Is it possible? Is it possible that MTV could bring back at LEAST 4 different animated shows to build its own block? Beavis and Butthead is coming back. Daria is very likely to come back. Celebrity Deathmatch came back once but was poorly redone and should be given another chance anyway. But, in this day in age could Clone High come back? YES! And here is why, take a look at this cast:
Will Forte(MacGruber)
Nicole Sullivan
Michael McDonald
Sarah Chalke
Zach Braff
Donald Faison
Andy Dick
Debra Wilson
You would think with all that talent there better be a great plot. And it was! Nothing like a high school with 9 proms in a 13 episode span, with a bunch of clones based off of historical figures that are for the most part opposites like Abe Lincoln, Ghandi who partied way harder then anyone else, and Joan of Arc who is apparently a goth chick.
Is there any chance of this show coming back? At a budget of $750k an episode, unlikely for a late night type deal but maybe it shouldn’t have any problem with getting a Comedy Central audience.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
