Review: The Cleveland Show “BFFs”

In the premier episode of “The Cleveland Show” the one and only Peter Griffin is in town(Stoolbend) and you would think that means a reunion of sorts, right? Wrong! Instead, Peter makes friends with some of the locals, so Cleveland calls on the great Ric Flair, and then they go on a camping trip with all of Cleveland’s friends. Meanwhile, Donna enters Rallo in a Quiz Bowl tournament to show he’s as smart as the other kids(no Allen Gregory doesn’t make an appearance).

SPOILERS AHEAD!

Cleveland is out sick with a 99 fever and missed Peter(Animation Domination Peter Griffin) hanging out with Tim the Bear and the rest of the Cleveland Show gang. After repeated Tweets, pokes, and phone calls, Cleveland is tired of it and goes to Quahog to man up(after Donna name drops Marge, Lois, and Francine).  Meanwhile, Donna has a conversation with a bunch of moms who think Rallo isn’t smart. Cleveland meanwhile is being avoided by Peter like the plague and Steve and Brian refuse to let him in. Peter pulls a dick move and runs over Cleveland than drives off, ASSHOLE!

Overall, an ok episode I mean there were a few laughs, Peter came off as a dick, and Cleveland’s friends get kidnapped by rapist locals. Also, I loved the Riddler outfit at Rallo’s quiz bowl competition(the whole bit itself was pretty good).  I was going to give this episode a ‘meh’ but a surprising guest from “Family Guy” (along with Peter) makes an appearance at the end and subsequently destroys ALL!
