Review: Simpsons “The Falcon and the D’ohman”
This week Homer gets in shit with a Ukranian terrorist so a hesitant security guard played by Keifer Sutherland comes to the rescue. Meanwhile, Marge gets on Top Chef in her dreams, and we find out the Nedna result…pay sidewalk coming.
SPOILERS AHEAD!
We get Homer trying his damndest to be friends with the new security guard Wayne who is simply playing hard to get with our favorite Simpson. When Wayne saves Homer’s life, he gets a free meal and we find out more about the new guy, like his list of defeated adversaries. As it turns out Wayne keeps getting flashbacks about a nightmarish past, not to be outdone Homer has nightmares about the future. As a result of one of these nightmares, Wayne stays with the Simpsons and teaches the wife and kids how to defend themselves when needed. Eventually, we get to the terrorist who captures Homer and Wayne has to go save him from one of the funniest hostage situations ever.
Kiefer Sutherland is on point as Wayne in an episode that had a Bourne Identity/24 feel to it(which fit just right) and The Simpsons show that they are here to stay and ain’t going anywhere. But, where did Marge’s side story go? And, no I am not posting the Nedna result, you should’ve fucking watched it!
SCORE
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
