10 Times Other Broadcast Networks Tried To Beat “The Simpsons” But Failed Miserably
This show was so bad, creator Steve Moncuse doesn’t even like talking about it to the press. Ya see the Fish Police comic series was almost a derivative of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles in that any comic series with anthropomorphic animals that came after got a deal. Fish Police was one of the better ones, but the concept was a bit ahead of its time and most adult American audiences at that time probably weren’t ready for that just yet in 1992. Oh, yeah, and the show sucked.
There's got to be some kind of twist that's going to happen with this. I don't know if they're setting up an April Fool's joke now or what's going on, but it seems too strange that they'd suddenly reverse on doing a fourth and fifth season after the show was already renewed and they were even just talking about working on those seasons like a couple months ago or something. Or maybe the two episodes yet to release will secretly somehow each be like a "season" in themselves?
