Jeez louise, The Simpsons are loading up already on the guest stars for next season aren’t they? Already we have confirmed appearances of Steve Carell, Jennifer Tilly, Fred Armisen, and Carrie Brownstein and if that wasn’t enough we are getting Zooey Deschanel, Sarah Silverman, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Anne Hathaway, AND Natalie Portman. According to Entertainment Weekly they will be guest starring in an episode with the latter four providing cameos as past love interests for Bart Simpson.
Turns out Zooey Deschanel is Mary Spuckler and she is returning to the episode as the ‘one that got away’ for Bart as she is moving to NYC and Bart wants to win her back. To prove it he’s also gotta confront his past flames like Gina(Gellar), Darcy(Portman), Jenny(Hathaway), and Nicky (Silverman) apparently as an ode to High Fidelity.
