One of the interesting tidbits I saw on a recent press release from Adult Swim about Robot Chicken Season Seven on the way, was that there was a bit (that we didn’t print at the time) about Warner Bros. Animation. In their snippet, the producers noted that not only do they make Teen Titans Go! for Cartoon Network, but that the production company is already touting Mike Tyson Mysteries and even still notes it as ”forthcoming”.

Obviously, one would think after noting the still in development series, that Mike Tyson Mysteries could be premiering on Adult Swim sooner rather than later. Mike Tyson Mysteries was first announced last year at Adult Swim’s Upfronts presentation, and so far we have seen Rick and Morty, King Star King, Mr. Pickles, Ubermansion, and a whole bunch of the returning shows, but Mike Tyson is well…still a mystery.

2014 has already been a huge year with Warner Bros. Animation with the feature film The Lego Movie, so could the company be looking to capitalize on that with the TV premier of Mike Tyson Mysteries? According to last year’s press release, Mike Tyson Mysteries is an upcoming animated series featuring 12-minute episodes of Mike Tyson solving crimes armed with a magical tattoo, a talking pigeon, and the best gloves in the history of boxing.
