Simpsons Tease Homer as One to Die in New Comic-Con Clip

The Simpsons brains revealed a new teaser trailer Saturday morning at Comic-Con, and it hinted that Homer may be the one killed in the Season 26 premiere.

It would make sense, considering Dan Castellaneta did win an Emmy for voicing Homer, and that fits producer Al Jean’s previous hint. However, we all know Homer would never be killed off – at least not permanently. I mean, what kind of crazy cartoon would murder a member of the main family? Unless of course it was part of some desperate publicity stunt.

The Simpsons have previously tried this type of tease, before Maude got axed (figuratively axed, not literally) and the commercials tried to make it seem like no character was safe.

At this point, most people (or most news outlets, at least) seem to think Krusty will get killed in the September 28th episode, “Clown in the Dumps.” But my money is still on his father, Rabbi Hyman Krustofsky.
