The Simpsons Pulled Into Russia/Ukraine Conflict
Earlier this year, The Simpsons were credited with predicting the Syrian civil war, and allegedly picking a side. Now there’s an anti-Putin Simpsons video floating around the interwebs, and maybe even another prediction.
You see, the video in question is a typical intro sequence with the usual billboard outside of Springfield Elementary, only this time it features a shirtless cartoon Putin riding a horse and the words: “Horse Ride in Crimea.” The next part, the chalkboard gag, displays the popular phrase in Ukraine: “Putin-Huylo,” which Wikipedia says translates to “Putin is a dipshit” or “Putin is a dickwad.” Take your pick, they’re both wonderful.
Of course people questioned the authenticity of the video, and of course it wasn’t legit, as FOX confirmed. However, the animation was still pretty solid.
I guess this just serves as yet another reminder of the obvious fact that being a worldwide cartoon sensation can get you involved in armed conflicts halfway around the world. In fact, this isn’t even the first time Putin and the a Simpsons spoof have crossed paths.
Who knows, maybe the Soviet Union will rise again and The Simpsons can get credit for another prediction.

"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
