Review: We Bare Bears “Charlie’s Big Foot”

Or sasquatch, whichever you prefer.

Charlie breaks his foot and has to go to the hospital, but he can’t be seen. But when an undercover operation involving Pan-Pan goes awry, the bears have to team up with Charlie to try and save their brother from undergoing unnecessary surgery. Fortunately, they do just that, but not before causing a chase throughout the whole hospital. Charlie’s foot gets fixed, but the after effects of ‘laughing gas’ has given Pan-Pan the giggles. 

Our Take

The basic premise stems off of the classic routine of “one character sits on top of another character, they grab a long coat, and sneak into something” that’s been prevalent since The Muppets and has been used in other franchises like Family Guy and whatnot. The plot for this episode wonders what would happen if that walking concoction would have to go tot he doctor, and it’s pulled off well, even if a bit formulaic. I love Jason Lee as “Charlie” because the role brings such levity and energy to every episode he’s in.
