Ric Flair was a guest star, but Beary and Hot Dog steal the show.

Spoilers Below

This week we get a documentary about one of the craziest wrestling matches of all time. Included are featured interviews with Gus, Chicken Man, The Best, and Ric Flair. During the course of the interview we learn that Gus had always wanted to be a wrestler but ended up as a nuts vendor at the biggest match of the year featuring Chicken Man and The Best. During the course of the match, The Best takes all of Gus’ concessions so as to distract Chicken Man, but the crowd gets PISSED in the process. As a result, Gus climbs in the ring, and that’s what sets off his career in wrestling..but when you beat up the fans, you lose business which isn’t good for the promoter, so he fires everyone.

New Experiences with Beary Nice and Hot Dog Person

Beary and Hot Dog head to the mall, but when Beary tries to use his imagination, Hot Dog gets depressed so Beary invites him to share. Unfortunately, a sale on blue jeans sways Beary’s attention which causes a heavy metal kid to show up and share HIS imagination with Hot Dog. This causes as about a hellacious dream as you can see, but it’s cool because Hot Dog gets out just in time to check out Beary’s new pants.

When I was a kid, I was a big fan of WWE wrestling. Undertaker was my favorite and I used to be glued to my TV every week watching WWE Raw or Smackdown. Nowadays, Undertaker doesn’t come around much and my interests in combat sports have shifted to UFC, but Uncle Grandpa helps me remember the good times of my fandom. From the crazy as fuck fans, to Vince McMahon’s trademark ‘YOU’RRRRRREEEEE FIIIIIREDDD!!”, this week’s episode had the whole package. Better yet, we got our first taste of a TRUE original short as the B-story featuring Beary and Hot Dog and I loved it. The heavy metal scene featured some of the best background and character design and suits well to the probably wrestling fan whom probably also listens to hard rock/heavy metal.
