Review: Rooster Teeth Animated Adventures “Geoff Ramsey: Best Dad Ever?”

Quite possibly.

Geoff is on the outs with his daughter, Millie. First, she told him he was not the best dad ever. Despite Geoff trying to convince her otherwise, she was adamant that he was not the best dad in the world. The second event happened after Geoff took the family to the movies on a weeknight. Millie wanted to tell her parents something but couldn’t. Geoff tried to tell her that she could trust them but Millie wasn’t so sure. She said she could trust her mother but she was on the fence about Geoff. Gavin points out that Millie sounds like a snarky teenager. In reality, she’s ten.

If you have watched any of Achievement Hunter’s stuff, you have probably seen or heard Millie. Millie is a pretty cool kid. While most kids would get in trouble for talking back to their parents that way, Geoff lets Millie be herself. Geoff doesn’t yell or get angry. He just tries to understand where she is coming from. To be honest, that makes him a rather good parent. Letting your kids be themselves instead of a mere extension of you is a very difficult thing to do. I’m glad Millie has cool parents.
