Spoilers Below

90s Adventure Bear used to be a big-time TV star, but now he’s down-on-his luck trying to sell shit to make ends meet. Pickle and Peanut can’t believe it, so they team up to try and get 90s Adventure Bear back to his original state. Peanut shows up as an old nemesis and puts the Bear back on track as a respectable member of the community. Eventually, 90s Adventure Bear re-teams the rest of his former team, but at this juncture Pickle and Peanut are trying to convince everyone that they aren’t real villains, but no one will believe them.

It isn’t long before 90s Adventure Bear snaps and threatens to drop Pickle and Peanut out of his bi-plane. Fortunately, the Bear comes to, and decides to be a hero again…or at least a paid spokes-bear.

Our Take

While Wander Over Yonder was sticking the 80s up our ass, this show sticks us with a much more undesirable decade of which to remember cartoons…the 90s. A time where Louie Anderson and Howie Mandel went from bartenders to celebrities seemingly overnight. And while this week’s episode featured a premise that is somewhat familiar, I think 90s Adventure Bear was so funny that I didn’t really mind. His constant back talk through the course of his ordeal was a lot to take on, but I’m glad Pickle and Peanut were there with me to help out.
