Review: NFL Rush Zone: Guardians Unleashed – “Rumors Run Wild”

This weeks guests are C.J. “Inappropriate Last Name For A Man Who Fumbles Often” Spiller of the Buffalo Bills and Kendall “Mister” Wright of the Tennessee Titans.

Spiller and the Guardians are in Buffalo, protecting the Megacore from the Anticorians. Spiller heads inside for the Megacore but is kidnapped by Dropkick, along with the Megacore.

After the intro music clears we head to football practice where Ish and Ash are tossing the ball to receivers. Someone points out that Ish hasn’t been as sharp today is he normally is and that if he keeps it up that Ash may take his playing time away. Someone on the bench just started a really bug rumor! Word gets back to Ish and he is upset.

The Guardians head back to Buffalo to protect the Bills-Titans game while RZ searches for Spiller. When they arrive they see Spiller running towards the opponent’s Megacore holder. When confronted by the Guardians, Spiller triggers an attack. The Bills Mascot stays in charge of the Titans Megacore, but steals it when the Guardians leave. Kendall Wright catches up with Ish and Ash, who were talking about the starting QB job, and offers some advice to Ish when Ash walks off upset.

RZ sends the Guardians to a cave by an abandoned amusement park where C.J. Spiller is located. This could be a trap, so RZ sends the team with a scanner that can identify real players and not clones. When they enter the cave, their platform is blasted down and the team is split up. The Guardians are able to save Spiller and head out of the caves before Sudden Death can catch up. They lost the Megacores but saved the player and, more importantly, discovered Sudden Death’s lair.
