Review: Kirby Buckets “Mitchell’s Gauntlet”

Mitchell’s gauntlet is kind of like lazer tag meets sword fighting in that combatants wear vests that light up if hit by a plastic sword. Despite his incessant rage, Kirby has to enter the competition to win back his tablet that features his birthday present for Mom. Turns out, Mom was the last one to beat the long-haired Mitchell, but Kirby finds out that Mitchell has been cheating this entire time anyway and gets back his tablet just in time for the party that Dad and Dawn spent the entire episode planning (or buying from Nathan at the S&P store).

Fish and Eli had some sort of spat over gentle animals that I don’t care about.

Our Take

I really enjoyed the birthday party premise and moreso the epic battle that Mitchell and Kirby had. Seems as though these guys are always going at it, and really that’s the best way to do it because both of those guys and Dad are the best parts of this show. With no more Kirby scheduled for the month of April, one has to wonder if this was the last go of it?
