Review: Future-Worm “Bubble Dad / Future Danny and the Ghost Pirates Of Tau Ceti / Porthole to the Lizard”

It’s like getting two shows in one!

Spoilers Below

“Bubble Dad

For whatever reason, Danny builds his dad a bubble so that he can join the family on a camping trip. Future-Worm is off hunting birds of prey, but Doug goes missing which means we’ve gotta find him. We eventually do, but Doug is surrounded by the forest-dwellers whom think he is some sort of ‘chosen one’. Future-Worm decides to spring a trap for the birds, then we’ve gotta rescue dad. Fortunately, Doug is doing right by the people, and Danny decides to help the forest-dwellers modernize.

Future Danny and the Ghost Pirates Of Tau Ceti

Danny’s about to get thrown off of a pirate ship, but is able to escape thanks to the Kraken. Of course, Robo-Carp is no use whatsoever.

 Porthole to the Lizard”

Danny gets detention, but leads the other kids on an adventure to go see a Komodo dragon. The detention kids split, but Danny and Future-Worm get caught in the middle of a big ol’ war. The two get caught, but the detention kids come back and save them from capture. The kids head back to detention just in time to learn a startling revelation about their teacher.

Our Take

This show is a bit all over the place, but overall I like it a lot. The best part about Future Worm, is that’s two shows in one when you factor in Future Danny, with the latter possibly being the funnier of the two. You know who I was MOST impressed with? Ryan Quincy. Never thought about the guy as a voice actor, but boy, the animator is really damn good. Solid show, and looking forward to seeing more.
